I gained experience as a Writing Tutor while completing an English degree. After graduating, I continued tutoring and editing essays and articles for college students in my spare time. My passion for writing includes helping others learn the simplicity of a process for any writing assignment. I have 5 years of experience tutoring, proofreading, and editing for college students. I have a master’s degree in English Literature. I began proofreading and editing on a freelance basis after college. I have edited dissertations, capstone projects, and homework assignments. In addition, I give students an orderly process for completing any writing assignment.

I enjoy meeting people who are unsure of or anxious about their writing skills and finding ways to help them have an enlightening experience. I have had a number of opportunities to work with diverse students of various skill levels and I was able to help them overcome their writing insecurities and succeed in reaching their writing goals. I am a dedicated person who is now focused on sharing my gift with others. In my spare time I enjoy visiting museums and galleries, attending cultural, musical, and sporting events, and traveling. My approach to tutoring is one of simplicity. There is a simple, basic method involved in writing an essay or other academic paper. Once a student learns this method, the student becomes more relaxed and writing becomes easier and more fluid. I am not claiming to have invented a secret formula for becoming a better writer. I use a process that has proven to work for me throughout my student years and beyond and one that will work for others if utilized.
